In Algemeen Dagblad of 15 January last, I read a relevant message under the title "Topbazen deliver part of salary." The crisis brings an awakening going on in business. The CEO of NS is satisfied with a salary 10% lower than that of his predecessor. For printer manufacturer Océ see dozens of top managers on a salary increase and the board gives its bonuses back. The CEO of TNT waives his salary increase because "I can not answer for my staff and society as my income goes up significantly."
Leaders are aware that it is not about money but about people. They realize they must change yourself first as a man to run a business change. Their awareness may not always spiritual in nature, but at least there is movement in the social consciousness. That is a sign of spiritual life ...
There has been considerable investment in personal meaning and individual spirituality by zen, yoga, meditation techniques, etc. That was strange and esoteric for business and had nothing to do with business. In business and even education and care is all about practicality. There will be a revival of material innovations, monetary, technical and rational area. It is becoming more complex and less manageable, because the soul is often lacking. Then follows the collapse, the crisis. The narrow focus on power, knowledge and money, we are the forgotten man, the trust is gone and people are losing their grip.
Everyone is aware that change must come, but how? You can not change others, because everyone is free to change or not. That is our feeling of powerlessness in this crisis. You can not force anyone to change. What is possible?
The only way out of the crisis is work on yourself and your awareness of your own wealth and life dream. Self try to penetrate to the deepest level of our existence is to serve the purpose of life to discover the power and wealth. Conscious of our own deepest calling is the only way to penetrate into the lives of others. Grows out of a personal spiritual wealth is a collective wealth, social awareness and collective spirituality.
This collective process of spiritual deepening is now gradually going. Top managers are increasingly aware of a resource which is not purely physical in nature, but human. That they bring a social awareness going of our value as human beings. That is the way out of the crisis.

This period trapping rotating turbulence seems like a key moment in time.
Does the human scale back?
Thank you for this inspiring article.
The article today in the Algemeen Dagblad is one of hope.
In my work I recognize that my clients .... looking for hope!
Beautiful as another expressed it here .... credit crunch -> credit opportunity!
Are we in our society in a "key moment" in these times?
Jos
@ Jos Tree Key, thank you for both your comments. Crisis is also an early renewal
I completely agree with the contents of this article. Crisis as opportunity ... that applies to each individual's life. Now the credit crunch for all companies the opportunity to the changing consciousness in higher pace to grow so that awareness is handled with the human capital in a company and global gives the opportunity to achieve a fairer distribution between rich and poor to come. The term 'credit crunch' would be for me renamed may be to 'kredietkans'omdat this term better the needs reflects the hope that is in all hearts alive to our abundance so dividing that no one need suffer from hunger in this world .
@ Vlasselaer of Straw: Straw thanks for your comment. Crisis is indeed a risk and credit crisis is an opportunity to close the chasm between rich and poor
Dear Paul, of course, your vision and related words from my heart seized. Thanks for that. Your call to toplieden seems to be of great complexity. And in a sense, 'focus on people "too. Maybe it's a good first step if involved the word "responsibility" to seriously consider whether or not your inspirational help. In English - I heard today from Karin Sorbi - is the fact "response-ability" and that can be pretty divided ...
@ Cees Hoogendijk: Thanks for your support Cees responsibility is indeed a spiritual value
Dear Paul,
Thanks for these wise words. It is all so true. Just so there is an investigation in 2006 revealed that 75% of the workforce more value on the contribution that it makes to the big picture more than salary and a large car. For me that was enough to know that people in touch with their dream job through the platform Sustainable Jobs. Late last year we even deeper on the connection between employer and employee dealt with Spiritual Job. And I believe in having a few more steps to make. Maybe the flatter organizations organized in the future and people can connect more directly with targets where they all want to go. The crisis here is only the ultimate challenge to these processes in motion.
Sincerely,
Caroline
@ Caroline Ligtenberg: Thank you Caroline for comment. Do not let the crisis challenge to develop your spiritual vacancy
Finally an initiator in the financial field, in clear words explaining why things that can only be based on materialism, can not help but fail. A massive, catastrophic collapse since REGULATORY decades had begun, but where everyone frantically for the eyes closed. Paul de Blot is a man who paves the way with wisdom, knowledge and understanding to a fair divided future for humanity.
Hetarihon @ Sylvia: Thank you for your support Sylvia
Dear Paul,
Agree entirely with your writing again.
@ Marian Muller: Thank you for your answer short and virtue Marian
Dear Paul,
I Discuss regularly with international groups on the Internet especially in the field of architecture. I follow your blog for some time and for many years I try to find their soulmates fear, hope and humiliation emotions under control (think we) have.
What strikes me especially from the discussions in recent times is indeed the financial crisis seems to be marking time in a positive way. The cause is regularly entropy and conscience or on multiple planes. I think that entropy in the building (disposable society) particularly in building materials are far from sustainability thinking. Just before the man is (my opinion) the challenge to existing buildings are re-appropriated, to renovate a bigger challenge than once again something new to plant. You can even share your views about the law of entropy in general and how the responsible person there should be about, anyway? Sincerely, Ronald Molendijk
@ Ronald Molendijk: According to the entropy in nature everything tends to disorder. This applies to the material world, monetary system, technical systems, electronics systems, etc. They are increasingly complex and fall. Spirit roguish systems are becoming more consistent through awareness
@ Ronald Molendijk: entropy, growth is disordered. In the physical world, so also in line with the monetary, technical, electronic and other material systems is complex and everything falls apart. In the spiritual systems, everything is conscious and strengthened the coherence
Dear Paul,
Oh so true!
The awareness and the willingness to work on yourself as the source for the constant change. Awareness is growing inside yourself available to others as an offer to collective wealth. I consider this the primary meaning of being human. The current crisis has the potential that new ways have a chance. We still think old, but gradually see their limitations and learn to be aware that things must change. Unlike in conscious connection with our Self.
Warm Regards,
Arnold
@ Arnold van der Beek: Indeed, the awareness is most important to your inner wealth potential. Thank you
Dear Paul,
, In general,. As always, it is easy to get to you right afterwards. In bad times you see the search begin. For meaning, and the other contents of life. The beauty of your bet is that you dare to advance to send to confront yourself in the corporate world. In good times. Encouraging people in times of progress, reflect on a task, even in companies. Now we reap. Afterwards. Not less sweet. Your right.
Erik
Hallers @ Erik: Thank you for your response and positive addition Erik
Kallers @ Erik: Thank you for your comment. Indeed it is to constantly stop and reflect what is the meaning of what you do
