We have no footing

by Paul de Blot 16 November 2009 permalink

We all suffer the consequences of the crisis. The biggest pain is the great uncertainty in almost all areas. We lost our footing and are not sure of our jobs, our income, our retirement, our future? The stress strikes ...

Crisis is a cleaning of sprawl and outdated false securities. We must grow. What does not grow, dies and is removed. After cleaning grow new collateral deeper rooted and more guidance to the vicissitudes of our lives. They are more spiritual.

When climbing a mountain, we can get lost on the winding paths. That makes us afraid and insecure. But when we come to top, all fears because we can see all about. In a crisis we experience a similar process. We seem lost and uncertain until we have all at one time seen from a deeper spiritual standpoint. That is our inner certainty of the mind.

A moment of silence can make us aware of the security and realize what it is about. Suddenly we discover what it is about who we are and what we actually want. That is our calling. The dwelling on our deepest desires can give us a sense of security and inner peace. It's like the inner life can taste and taste. Indeed, an assurance that the situation looks like on a mountain climber from the top of a mountain at all can see. At this level a mother feels her child is ill, although the doctor can not find anything. Only later that the mother was right. Businessmen suddenly feel that there is a chance where they go and succeed. It is a certainty from within the heart can feel but not rationally be proven.

I do not believe in coincidence, but in the fact that my chances of seizures. On those opportunities, I can only say YES or NO from an inner certainty. In my life, all my serious plans failed. I have my successes largely due to such opportunities accruing to me and I said yes to. That was often my success. I did not know why I did it but I had success. This intuition of my chances I call our vocation, that our deepest dreams and highest ideals are a source of joy and inner security.

Unfortunately, we often too busy to pause or to go into the stirrings of our soul. A sudden burst of happiness or new understanding, we pass and find a rational answer to it without realizing that this precious moments that fits us. This spiritual sensitivity does not come easily but requires practice. More often for a moment and ask yourself what you are doing, our sense of awareness and essence. Regularly throughout the day creates a moment his inner security. A short daily contemplation or meditation can help us.

Have not spent by the block calendar 2010 'Business Spirituality " with every day a short spell and reflection can also be very useful.

Kind regards,

Dear Mr. de Blot, Dear Paul,

Yesterday I was at work pointed to a seminar. I want to know that in a happy way am surprised by your vision and your work. I believe that the world could use more people like you. People with vision, and the influence this through all the layers in a loving way to express. Thank you for your inspiring words.

The above piece reminded me of the inspirational words of another mind:

Your innermost sense of self, or who you are is Inseparable from Stillness. This is the I Am That is deeper than name and form.

Bodde @ Hans: Thank you for enriching inspiration Hans. Eckhhart Tolle is indeed an example

    Paul Day!

How nice and special that you just now this story of inner security tells everyone in full uncertain! Myself for years in a way to work (consumer) that I always called ad hoc but is actually improvise. Have a long-term planning very broad, short-term waslijstje but a blank calendar! From the minute I see what's happening in the world where I can hook in with an article, an action or a congratulations email with ideas or other active organizations, or a contribution to a workshop or conference. Actually, I work almost entirely in the same way as an improvising musician, as in jazz. Listen, adjust, adapt. And that gave me the idea it even an "organizational improvisation" to call. And when I go see that the form which is most clearly identified with direct customer contact, such as service departments, but also for doctors and teachers, among politicians and journalists, and police and social workers in extreme! Business spirituality is not the mission statement, nor for the daily cooperation, but at the other end of the spectrum or final product. Thus, ad hoc or short term. But that soon occurs suddenly in force because the market situation changes suddenly and the whole company in the short term, very alert. And then (to) discover that spirituality and inner confidence the only way into the future as you describe. A wonderful story Paul!

In 1999 I started my next job as a freelance textile designer, a quest for healing opportunities to make art. My old work began to crumble and in 2004 I quit my regular income for some. My kredietcrices was in full swing but I jumped into the deep to follow my dream and mission.

My credit crisis is still going on, I often tremble at other steps put, the only support was and is my inner voice. The most difficult moments talking my voice to me with advice. I learned to go inside again and again to be very good feel and listen. To be very different in daily life.
Inwardly I am a rich man became my gratitude, love and joy for life with great leaps and bounds, have had wonderful experiences.

In order to support myself in the process of breaking old patterns, I have everything right to develop "healing art". A beautiful package that other people on the road Now I can support this tiny scale, but I am looking for the possible chance to expand my work to my knowledge and insight to share with others.
If you know anything please let me know.

I particularly agree with what Paul writes. Try during the day, how busy he is, and moments to create your own. If need more just 5 minutes on the toilet ... Rest / quiet look makes that space comes. Space for possibilities and opportunities.

Complementing Paul: I think chances / opportunities you can not accrue. They * are * already, but are you capable of it-the space in your to-detect and set to work to ...

I wish us all much peace and quiet ... the space and use the opportunity to discover that there are today!

Like to thank Dr Paul de Blot for this article. I recognize the clues he gives: say yes to opportunities, space for yearning through such silence. Besides the rationality gives way to the spiritual aspect of my humanity and the role it deserves attention. Possibly as a result successfully.
A question remains with me: you can only achieve this? Will the manager in the loneliness of individuality this silence, this attitude deeply can practice? I would like to know if and how Paul de Blot shows the relationship between individual and community / group.
I'm also curious how Paul de Blot the voice of silence does. This is entirely related to the inner genius, or is the assumption that voice may be another voice that speaks in me? And if it can be, what does that mean for my relationship with others, a group or community, like me looking to hear that voice?
    Yours sincerely,
