Cleaning in-house

by Paul de Blot 4 December 2009 permalink

The crisis is the talk of the day and the effects of the crisis are still strongly felt. For many it is something that is outside our place and we have become victims. But who is honest will discover that it is ourselves. We experienced a personal low point where we do not know to deal with it.

In growing and renewing old certainties are gone. They no longer work in the new situation. We are afraid, lose all grip and panic. We look for new securities but do not know how. In our thoughts and actions, we find no way out. This is a crisis in which clarity is gone.

In the era of coach we feel safe on the road in a horse drawn carriage. But with the advent of fast traffic, one feels in a carriage on the highway very unsafe and insecure. Any improvement of the coach is fruitless. There is a radical innovation needed and we must clean up the old. There is a double somersault through innovation requires an understanding that transcends the mind through insight from within at his level. Then we come to learn to drive.

The increasingly rapid development of our environment are mentally not to keep. Everything we have shown in the next phase of growth unusable. People thought assured of the future by money and power. The crisis has shaken the certainty and it fails the lost stability. Only a radical renewal through inner spiritual values can restore our confidence. These are the securities that are rooted in the deepest sense of our existence. That trust, credibility, compassion.

We feel very confident when we, when we have friends who do not leave, as we have ideals which we dream, when we meet people who are human. These are spiritual forces that are rooted in the deepest level of our human existence. That is our calling to his level of great things to us so we can enable and Obama can say, "We can do it".

This reversal of opinion in order to internally grip does not come out. We must do something about it, as often for a moment and wonder: what am I doing, what is it, what is the meaning of this? Even in the depths of life as we know no advice, there may come a time when we can say it's OK! The end of the year is a good opportunity to reflect on this.

    Dear Paul,

Since your speech at the SME power I'm a fan. Again very carefully read your newsletter.

I strongly believe in standing close to yourself, always include yourself wondering "what I want 'where am I" "where do I go" and so believe in your own authenticity and what can be achieved by close to be yourself.

From me you may have been inspiring blogs and continue to give speeches.

    Paul Day,
Thank you again for your inspiring words. Nicely written!
Life is dynamic. A large continuous motion. That's what really IS creative energy. Because we seem to vastclampen realities, it can literally not stand. You taught me regarding my question about meaning of Viktor Frankl. I like to quote Viktor Frankl here only once: "The question of the meaning of life is actually a wrong question. It is the life questions. To us. Our whole existence is nothing but answer. "

    Dear Mr Blot,

I read with interest your newsletter. It gives me insight into the thinking of people who are closely involved in the daily reality. In this newsletter or blog to use the modern jargon, I taste a bit of despair, that it's really more difficult to understand. I was last weekend at a seminar on "EEC, meditation and brain integration." This fits very much with your recommendation for reflection, but in a "scientific" way. Reflection is needed, but it must be based on verifiable results, otherwise it does not much like. Maybe a good idea to think about that?

    With warm regards,

    Rob van der Sloot

    Hi Veronique,

and .... coachees can also be written as cheese go :-)

That sounds exactly the same ... nor should it or not ... I think ... and whether it ... and you know, like crying and laughing very close to each other, may be the same, I think even - the known sublimation it is crying with laughter and I think that the opposite also exists - but energetically very different ... complementing each other?

Nice of your statement is that he's perspective ... and there we meet,

    Paul Day,

Trust, credibility and solidarity are the values that fit and authenticity (send to) feel, you feel at ease in your own home. Not as a bunker but as a source. Because you know who you are and what you stand for. And so you are not prey to the circumstances (more) are.

The greatest examples of this are people like me, Jesus, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. Big names, all-encompassing vision and determination despite a high personal price. They made it without formal power or force is possible that rulers, leaders and supervisors eventually won gifts. Influence (flow inward from the inside?) Is greater than power. Example and invitation for us all. Even though we do not directly with the largest measuring, we can learn from their attitude. All you need is guts before, live from your heart. From the inside out. And occasionally a smile, a little perspective ... allways look on the bright side. It's been a few months ago, but as part of Budget Day, I wrote a little about what may now apply: http://ceesdebil.wordpress.com/2009/09/13/creatief-tegen-crisis- put-yourself-on-the-throne-speech / . After all, why only on that one day you may ascend throne?

Meanwhile, many people like to refer to the inspiring speech you on November 12 as part of the SME Powerhouse loved. You say a lot with a smile. Yes (chinese way ...). Then that's another advantage of the new age: the ability to link to and from and with each other. Transmit, transfer, and inspiration. Magnificent (new) vehicle, WWW, throttle and never brake ...

Crisis and change are a given. Shift Happens. To embrace it anyway? Must also think that suddenly Vanessa Ramses the sky this week been touted because he appealed to the beauty of authenticity ... singing, fighting, crying, praying, laughing, working ... .. and wonder.

10 also always remain for me a beautiful goal.

Wish you too beautiful reflection days,

    Cees de Bil

    Dear Paul

Beautifully written and very recognizable. We are afraid to give our support, but everything around us is changing.
This is simply a law of the system (cf. system thinking). We always strive for peace and balance, to homeostasis. But once we reached there will be change. Do not want to admit to change, because of our uncertainty puts us in a crisis.

You've given me a wonderful new way of thinking and put. Thanks for that!

For the coming period: many "Reflection of fun"
