Following the financial crisis we are now in a political crisis. Here begins the diabolical circle. The recovery is again sought in the financial system, which has caused the crisis properly. There is now another label pasted on the same costly system, namely austerity. Now other bodies can benefit. A golden opportunity to break the economy industry.
In the Daily Press on 9 April an article about "Cutbacks are already big business." Kluwer organizes the Fair in Utrecht a study on this. The consultancy BMC has been hired by 24 municipalities and one expects a multiple thereof. Consultants make money. Cuts costs money, lots of money estimated. Who pays for that? The citizen who must economize.
Whether all this activity any result to be seen. Economizing is one side of the story, making money is the other side. If you do not deserve you can not have much savings. But money is hardly, because the citizen is just part of a money-hungry machine. That can only wear so less performance.
In this machine thinking it is essential overlooked, namely that it is about people and not a money machine mechanism. Only people can make money, machines can not. A crisis is not solved by money, but only by people who make money. But they should know for the opportunity and trained. By saving these opportunities shrinking.
The small businesses that the center must bring to life be cut off because they no longer meet the necessary appropriations to come. Or they are swallowed by the scale of large companies. Students will also be difficult to meet future education and youth work, because there is less money.

Economizing is costly, we finally cut it, but often at the expense of the man who has to generate money.
All austerity programs will fail if the people have no room to be human and to develop their own responsibilities.

Cuts,

I have not counted how much the word "money" in your article to read. Money should not be allowed to guiding. We are now dependent on.

It took me the last 9 months many insights given by the constant questioning of where I went wrong. It has put my world on its head.
People from my area does not understand it all and more often say that my midlife crisis coming. I feel often discouraged when I see more and more money is given away to the organization of 'cut' or other things that would be good for the average citizen.
