After the financial crisis we are now in a political crisis. Here begins the devils circle. The recovery is again sought in the financial system, which has caused the crisis properly. There is now a different label stuck on the same costly system, namely austerity. Now other agencies benefit. There break the golden age of austerity for business.
In the Daily Press 9 April an article on "Cutting costs is now big business." Kluwer organizes the Fair in Utrecht this study. The consultancy BMC has already hired 24 local authorities and is expected to have a multiple thereof. Consultants make money. Economise costs money, a lot of money estimated. Who pays for that? The citizen who has to economize.
Some or all of these unsuccessful efforts to be seen. Economizing is one side of the story, making money is the other side. If you can not earn too little savings. But money is hardly, because the public is just part of a costly machine. That can only wear and less performance.
In this machine the basic thinking is overlooked, namely that it is people and not a money machine mechanism. Only people can make money, machines can not. A crisis is not solved by money, but only by people who make money. But they should know for the opportunity and training. By saving these opportunities shrinking.
The small businesses that need to bring to life the middle class to be cut off because they no longer can get the necessary appropriations. Or they are swallowed by the expansion of big business. Students also difficult to get the future for education and youth work because there is less money.
The older and sicker you become, the more you have to take care of yourself, because there is no money. It does seem that this money policy the powerless powerless, because they spend nothing on. However, we should not complain because everything has a positive side. Economizing is expensive, we finally cut it, but often at the expense of the man who has to generate money.
All austerity programs will fail if men are not given room to be human and to develop their own responsibility.

Cuts,
I myself have a lot in recent years made and while I certainly do not lose sight of what is truly valuable in life and how important it is to maintain a positive attitude as one other in a downward spiral threatens to come.
Engaging in cuts is far too often associated with depression and sadness, thinking,

I have not counted how much the word "money" in your article to read. Money would not be leading be. We are now dependent on.
The base will depend on no man, hence no money. In my practice I see people change also on the basis that the value of their own counseling afterwards determine. It does not even money. Because money can sometimes be the value that it does not represent. It is man who on this document itself may determine what is of value and it also takes its responsibility. I can find in your very last second paragraph. We become more aware of our responsibility. What I am still not what I first think of your column. Because I see an apparent dichotomy. The powerful and powerless. Perpetrators and victims as if they were going. You describe the powerful among as large companies, "the consultants," the "money machines". However, they are not also authorize form and content provided by many individuals, by many people? The same people who are also aware of their responsibilities.

They need to "get space". But whose? People would still have room to take? Or their own responsibility and not wait until they get something? And if they do not get it, who is responsible?

There will be, if we continue on this path, a growing underclass created which no longer have the means to come along. The industrial thinking must be transformed. It has given me the last nine months many insights given by the constant questioning of where I went wrong. It has put my world on its head.
People from all around me understand more and not often say that my midlife crisis coming. Could be, I am also 40 but it became more about him questioning where I really want to go with my life and business. And what do I mean to others. Now we come to value more important than the financial. Money is very important, as Goldrath says in his book: the goal, what is the first interest of a company? Money! But ... it is true that if your business is not financially in a row are simply submerged and no company is more about love. But when is it enough? earn money on the back of another? as you wrote, try to earn good money by the other "silly" to keep?
During this crisis, I see things happening that really can not do until two years ago, with people talking in the beautiful HR forms to have satisfied employees. Performance appraisals were a must for the person to a higher level but I found some dazzling to maximize someone to suck.
Now, sudden reorganization of companies, reorganization, shift change: all this messed up family life. Hear now what the people want or desire. In reading your column, I get goose bumps. It is exactly right. The times were already changing. I see now that there are many trainers and personal coaches, as self-employed, starting their business. It has developed many courses and training for this work followed from their passion to do. This, the current time, here and now, coincides exactly with what is coming in 2012. The Aquarian Age is already underway, I feel, that the turnaround, so 2 points on each pyramid in 2012 will take place.
Just look at the health insurance. This is no longer to accomplish. When I look in the surrounding countries, it is not everything, only priorities are different.
Medical costs are lower, lower tuition, better care, fewer rules, etc.
In the Netherlands, is working with budgets and forms (lists). And no funding or form, too bad. (ISO is a good example)

I often feel discouraged when I see more and more money is given away to the organization of 'cut' or other things that would be good for the average citizen. But to the regular manual work, that what is relevant and what is actually trying to promote, that's not the money go. I worked several years on behalf of the government to entrepreneurs in an area to encourage more activities for visitors to the area to be developed. The entrepreneurs complained, they had enough ideas, but to get money from the government for their development, they had so many conditions that they often halfway tasks. Or is it better not to start. Meanwhile, more and more organizations and people by the government put to work / hired to invent ideas for more activities for that area to develop. I begin, now that I no longer work for the government, more and better understand why these companies were so outraged. Entrepreneurs who saw the money from the government to go everywhere, but not to them. That meant that they no more people on government seriously. And rightly so, because those businesses were not taken seriously by the government. You see the same in several areas. The government is a lot of money with a registry of advisors and program managers open to "citizens" to stimulating to do what they think. But that 'citizen' (the doers / ondre makers) have not been waiting, and only sees his tax money is spent on bureaucratic geldrondpomperij, which does not penetrate. The gap is widening.
