It is incomprehensible to many that despite the strict control it time and again made big mistakes, even by agencies not allowed to make mistakes like the judiciary, police, doctors and even the church.
There are indeed many great and irreparable mistakes. It is obvious that one reason trying to do everything to avoid mistakes and there are increasingly complex control systems for this purpose. The youth, as it were indoctrinated not to make mistakes. Without denying that mistakes should be avoided wherever possible, I ask myself whether it would not be the biggest mistake to think that people are not allowed to make mistakes. People always make mistakes!
With everything people involved are necessarily in my mistakes. I've always taught my students that during their training have the opportunity to make mistakes to learn from them without being fired. Therefore, the probability dare to use to gain experience. The main expertise is mostly from experience. The richest source of experience are precisely the faults which they have to learn.
Man is weak, but strongly by his mistakes to learn. It appears that many revolutionary innovations often be due to errors. Many successful business leaders recognize that they have become successful through their mistakes. Mistakes are part of life, and learning from mistakes as well.
Companies and agencies are obviously out to make no mistakes. Therefore they have developed routines and protocols in addition to control errors. But effective control systems are stifling innovation and slow down by one-sided focus on errors. The rapid technological developments, these systems become quickly outdated and thus sneak it in new errors.
Everything you have wealth and knowledge and has a single error can be lost if you do not learn. Learn from our mistakes is especially deeply realize who we are as people, what the meaning of what we do and what we in the depths of our hearts desire and want. What we are is never lost and will always exist, for generations.

Dear Paul,
For me a first time for you to read to colomn.
Wonderfully inspiring!
What should we make a huge difference in the world, when we go from love to make mistakes. Because if we keep focused on avoiding mistakes, we play it safe. We will then take less and some of our own potential unused.
When we begin to see errors as opportunities to learn, do we dare to take and we will shine as we intended.
So LOVE YOUR MISTAKES!
Warm Regards Noreen Tulner
Every person has the knowledge that no man is infallible. Therefore, even an error or mistake everyone can understand, as long as it provides insight into how this could happen.
Because each agency or institution run by people these agencies are not infallible.
However, some people can not understand is that there is no transparency. Errors and errors resulting from tunnel vision with professional bodies, cover-ups and look the other way as in the institutions. Take no responsibility and hide behind the "correct procedures used." This is justified societal misunderstanding and rejection.
Be transparent, open and vulnerable, and everyone will see more than just that mistake.
After all, everything we see is the result of what we have been given.
Dear Paul,

Dear Paul,
Yourself the freedom to come back to make a decision is a great thing, if this space is not given the greater good is what you have "freedom" and can not or do you only think in frames or patterns.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Paul,
I again read with great interest your input and would like to respond to this:
CHOICES
"Mistakes are always made ..." I'd rather replace with "Choices are always made ..." Learning from the consequences of the choices we make to my mind only when we have our conscious choices and take responsibility for the consequences of that choices. Of course, the choices of my neighbors affect my life, but choose it myself how much I allow. That is actually a choice.
PEOPLE
You have to be that large bodies constantly make mistakes. I think we should talk about people rather than institutions. People may otherwise remain hidden from the authorities behind the choices made. These are the people who must take responsibility for, we also let this happen.
BIG
"Fatal errors" always bring big changes with it. But more must be done to bring about major changes. For even now the consequences of these errors can be seen and felt I still see those same people go about their business suit or robe and receive bonuses and hundreds of thousands of followers.
I believe that we are only able to do great changes if we choose to be big. Big in love for ourselves and for each other and act in everything we do and the choices we make.
EXPERIENCE
"Man is weak, but strongly by his mistakes to learn from ..." Is man weak as he makes choices that do not have the desired outcomes? Indeed, we learn by yourself. It has very, very long time before I realized that every time my kids for something I guarded them while depriving the experience to learn. Letting go was hard for me. For my kids it meant space, freedom, falling hard at times but much faster growth by all the experiences they gain.
CHANGE
Actually I would say that we can change a lot when we name things differently. It gives a different energy, brings a different feeling cause, other reactions. It's often small things like: "I want ..." instead of "I must ..." or "You could do it differently ..." instead of "You're wrong ...".
Itself I do not believe in 'good' or 'wrong' and not 'good' and 'evil' or in the Free Will. And every time we get a chance to do it differently, new choices, to learn. I also believe that we need each other to learn and re-recognize ourselves so we can Groots think, speak and act to create the biggest changes to come.
Just because we and our world that are worth!
I am very sorry that you can not attend to 'The Mirror of Success ", I'd like to meet you.
With warm regards,
Kitty
Nice piece but in my view there are no mistakes only learning.
Errors and / or failure sounds very negative and attracts people to get into the deep end when there is no reason to do so.
There is "something" happened that one is not happy or not the right outcome, learn from them and do the next time not.
Do not understand why people make themselves and each other so hard because everything is basically very simple.
Dear Paul,
Personally I would go even further. You may also fail as a human being? So no mistake but a right intention sincere but completely miss the plank. Is there room for re-sit and learn from your mistakes? Or is failure at a time in your life a condition to make a leap forward in consciousness?
Kind regards,
Marco
Dear Paul de Bot,
Perhaps the biggest (underlying) problem lies in our thinking right or wrong. For who decides what is right or wrong?
Bert Hellinger (author of books on family constellations), writes that behind every love lies. He is one of the many visionaries of this time we want to clarify this understanding.
I see myself no right or wrong around me more. However, that every action we do, whether it is thinking something, or our actions has a consequence. Both for the person who thinks and / or act as those who are involved.
Thinking in right or wrong, or guilt and innocence contributes to the suffering in this world. You can not see anything like it. Neither of yourself nor of the other. It will lead to displacement rather than liberation. It's just what you choose.
A heart greeting Wonieka
Hi Paul,
The nail on the head, without more, we learn from our mistakes, often good and fast and it enriches us, in particular intangible.
Sometimes it's as if someone does not learn from mistakes, errors may not learn anything?
Thanks and best regards,
Ben

Are not we all a bit the clown?

Value Paul de Blot,
Many thanks also for this column. These orphaned in involuntary (?) At the opening of an earlier in your hand I can remember where I, in my own words with your elnemen, ran thus: "All that I mainly failed but what I was succeeded by chance and especially thanks to my friends. "This quotation and citation of course I decided Congress Cultural diversity & sustainability of the City of Tomorrow and Next Move Stick Ting jl on March 25 at the Van Abbe Museum. So, I thought, I could all those who, given the responses, successful event enabled to thank.
Your column today reminds me of a saying of Goethe: "What is not original, is of no significance, but what has got the original shortcomings of the individual with himself". In these shortcomings are the errors that have been taught, I think - I hope. In short, if no error, cast the first stone.
I once conducted an interview with a famous pianist. We talked about the tension prior to each performance. This is necessary, otherwise you can not charge and not the right concentration give evidence, he said. But sometimes the tension is so high that you can make the craziest mistakes. He said he after a concert once burst out laughing. Now suppose that the composer had gone on that one "wrong" chord, or that one little mistake that I made? Then there would be a very different piece originated. That's interesting. Making mistakes is really interesting, then you understand a composition sometimes even better, touch you deeper, he decided this part of the interview.
And conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt, to my mind one of the great "Kulturträger" of our time, told me with a twinkle in the eye, that ever so much as orchestras play, splash right: play exactly like the score. "But then you can get started. Then the musicians with the "Strom of Musk 'life and it shows no picnic." Harnoncourt Knowing a little bit, he says also that music is about emotion and expression, you can not explain to the ruler. And it varies by model. Thus, different tempos require a different acoustics.

Dear Paul de Blot,
Which at the end of your column states, namely:
"Everything you have wealth and knowledge and has a single error can be lost if you do not learn" I think what falls short. After all, your knowledge is not lost, if you have acquired in an honest manner and therefore have gained experience. And I see riches in this case only if material wealth is indeed at once be lost. Spiritual wealth, however, can enrich your life just in periods when you inflict blows. And that's exactly what I miss in your analysis. Because you write:
"Learn from our mistakes is especially deeply realize who we are as people, what the meaning of what we do and what we in the depths of our hearts desire and want." This is indeed the essence why we are here on earth. But the question arises whether we are properly wondering who we are and what the meaning of what we do. If we only look at our short stay on earth look, without regard for the creatures around us, and if we do not consider the consequences of our own actions in our existence in the next life, we learn not from our mistakes.
I think that the nucleus where it matters in life. How are we to live? We take our responsibility to look within, be honest with ourselves, or we consult ourselves or the other life. And if we find that it really to our own "I" is, dare we then to change our subservient to draw? We dare the other in the first set, but also love ourselves?
If we do that now, the world is today a tiny bit better. If we all do that, the world of tomorrow a large lot better. If we insist that one year, the world of our children a heaven on earth. And we all strive for?
Once we have achieved, your last sentence: "What we are is never lost and will always exist, for generations" be a truism. But then we have to work itself and not the fault of another record.
Sincerely,
Elisa Kriek
